ERC is research-oriented interdisciplinary research center housed in the Faculty of Education (FED) at the University of Macau.

ERC’s vision is to be a leading research center cultivating research-practice-policy partnerships in Macau and internationally.

ERC’s mission is to engage in rigorous educational research that informs educational policy in Macau and the Greater Bay Area.

ERC’s goals are to:

(1) Foster partnerships with Macau’s Education and Youth Development Bureau that promote the improvement of teaching and learning in Macau;

(2) Engage educational research projects in partnership with international and local universities and K12 schools;

(3) Collaborate with local schools for the development of high-quality school-based curriculum;

(4) Provide pathways and resources for the professional development of educators from preschool through post-secondary.
